Robot control and superior machine control in one system
The usage of industry robots in all kinds of facilities and automation technique gets more and more interesting. In the last few years robots have become more inexpensive because of bulk production.

Thus they are today increasingly used for tasks, for which in former times own manipulators were developed and built.

By the employment of robots as standard components, time- and cost-intensive developments of special purpose machines can be saved. Even with possible additional changes or reconstructions, robots are more flexible.

It is very important for a control system to support the integration of robots into a manufacturing process. MPC Solution offers the possibility of controlling industrial robots, and integrating them into the automation environment. Robotic control and superordinate process control form a constant system.

Thus synchronisation procedures between PLC and robot are simpler than with a separate robot program. Real time events can affect the courses for the robot.


System integration

MPC-Solution controls the industry robot directly, and so it becomes an integral part of the common facility. The robot receives its orders from MPC-Solution and works absolutely synchronous to the other facility. The own intelligence of the robot will be used too, in order to ensure optimal characteristics of procedures.

The robot will be connected via a serial interface of the MPC-Solution-PC. It can be remote controlled completely. The lone drive-orders or the access to their I/O devices will be integrated in the controlling program. MPC-Solution calculates the 3D-coordinates for the robot in dependency of the facility and transmits the moving orders.


Programming

Programming completely takes place in MPC-Solution. It is a great advantage for the software engineer that he does not have to learn and know two different programming languages. In MPC-Solution the robot commands get rebuilt. Of course teach-in is possible to.

MPC-Solution offers a lot of predefined robot operations.


Demo program

To simplify your start we provide you a sample programm with up to 10 Teach-Points. The program is primarily an example for robot application. But it can be used as well for a concrete application. Anyway you can run a robot straight after installation without ever writing a line of program code.


Supported robots

At the moment only industry-robots of Kuka enterprises are supported.


Easy handling

With MPC Solution also less qualified service personnel can accomplish changes at the parameters of the facility fast and easily. Of course the according access authorisation by keyword system must be given. Wheel life can be minimized and production can be boosted when modifying product data.
